Here is what I have done in a similar situation:
In front of the output only field, I added a non display 1 character field. So the cursor is not on the field itself but just in front.

The field is underlined as if it was for input and output - but the cursor doesn't tab to there

Hi everyone
Before I forget - we are on V7r3
I have an existing DDS screen, that has a number of fields being displayed - output I have the need to be able to tab to one or 2 of those fields - so unless someone knows of another way - I will need to make those fields output or both (input and output) but if I do make that change, I don't want the user to have the ability to update those fields I hope that makes SOME sense Anyone know how I can accomplish this?
