That's correct. We do a few RGZPFM commands nightly.

FWIW:
We have some CLs that make a backup copy to a different library before the RGZPFM and then delete that copy immediately after. I don't know what that's about.

Subject: Database file reorg

Hello all,

I have a ridiculously simple question for you all. We are planning on doing a reorg of some files this weekend. I'll have a dedicated system so there will be no concern of file locks. There's nothing that needs to be done post-reorg before the file can be used again, correct? It's simply run the RGZPFM command and start using the file again directly afterwards, correct?
