Charles brings up a good point about using SQL within a stored procedure or user defined function.


In your SQL CREATE statement, (that first link below), I did not see a "CONTAINS SQL" clause, or a "READS SQL DATA" or "MODIFIES SQL DATA" clause ...?

You don't by change have CLOSQLCSR=*ENDMOD set do you?

Do you really need to use RPG?  Can't you just do it all in SQL?
