The only way that's possible is if the BP configured a huge number of tiny LUNs and used up all the LUN count on the existing ports. Thing is that's a LOT (like 128 per port!)

Normally what you would need to do is create additional LUNs on the SAN, assign them to the existing host for the IBM i partition and then add them to the ASP (with balance of course) in service tools.
