David - I've had problems in 7.3 with a clle driven sftp rcv process, the
sftp step is done, I write to a dataq and the RPGLE program at the other end
fails to open the file (not exist).
With a slight delay and retry it works....

I concur with this technique ... another alternative is to have the program
that processes the IFS file listen on a data queue ... and have the program
writing the IFS file send an entry to the data queue indicating that the
file is written and what the file name is.
