Trilobyte (me) does indeed use, sell, and support a 5250 display, printer, and file transfer product (IP Client).

It is the original Synapse IP Client code that we have kept up-to-date over the years since Synapse closed.

Synapse founder Joe Frank was also responsible for 5250 emulators marketed by Emerald, Andrew, Nlynx, NetSoft, Attachmate, DCA, Blue Lynx, Fraser's Hill, and Connectronnix. Perhaps there are others.

Joe was the senior systems architect of SSP on the S/32, S34, S36 when he worked for IBM and developed the first 5250 emulator and file transfer package back in the 1980's as Software Systems Inc.

I go back 43 years and counting now.

I think Microfocus has an emulation product that offers file transfer,
although I haven't worked with it.

Ericom appears to offer file transfer capabilities also
(https://www.ericom.com/tn5250.asp).

Trilobyte also appears to have file transfer capabilities
(http://www.trilosoft.com).

I assume your client has sworn off RDi?

Any recommendations for an SQL client that does not require Java? The one’s I’m familiar with are all Java based (Squirrel, DBeaver).

I suspect that's going to be a pretty tall order.
