For converting older AFP resources, I looked back at my ancient batch AFP
resource converter for the older AFP resources (I'll admit to 8/1993) and
it uses a shared folder on the i.
CPYFRMPCD to a flat file, then based on the file name extension which I
had for the resource type run the appropriate CRT
CRTFNTRSC
CRTFORMDF
CRTPAGDFN
CRTPAGSEG
CRTOVL
This code still runs cleanly on V7R3
If the folder file system vanished on V7Rx, so long as you can get them
into a flat file in a library, the CRT's should still work.
For the newer AFP object containers, the i stores them in the integrated
file system, as is.
