Ta, greenscreen. Hi, open source.

You do realize that the OP was not interested in a green screen solution? That, there is more to iACS than 5250 emulation?

That recipe can be scripted, parameterized, called from CL, log itself, and exchange variables with the calling CL.

My vendor issue was more than just about encoding it was about layout, how
bolding was handled, etc. and we were automating it with an eye to the
future when our primary vendor (not the printing vendor) drops their
support for "greenscreen".

Why not download as text and run some kind of markup program on it on the workstation?

Or don't even download it: mount your IFS dir to the workstation via sshfs and edit it *in situ*.

Ta, greenscreen. Hi, open source.
