RPG, the IWS wizard, web services, HTML, css, and JavaScript gives you a
design structure that is modern, sub-second, easily maintained, and
requires minimal user training.

I think the primary reason we're looking at tools to help is there
isn't a lot of experience with the IWS wizard, web services, HTML,
css, and JavaScript on staff.

If you're starting from scratch on those technologies, is there
something to follow to get things up and running?

I know we'll want a standard look and feel across all the programs.

I think the function keys are primarily calls to other programs, which
could easily be converted to links, but what is the best practice to pass
data between different web pages when you're not sure which link will
be clicked on next? Data wouldn't be a single field, but a collection
of fields that are common to a lot of different programs.
