Jon, I used EA back when I was heavily into ERD and it was considered one of the gold standard tools. This was some time ago, of course, but it looks like it has continued that level of functionality.

The entry edition is $229, and I'll bet that has most of what you need, with the caveat that it might not be 100% i aware.  Library lists on connections in particular are generally unknown outside of the IBM midrange world.  In any case, Sparx offers a free trial that will allow you to compare the various editions for 30 days.

Have a look at Enterprise Architect from Sparx Systems. It's significantly more than a DB tool, but the DB tools are excellent. ERDs and it understands DB2 well. It does cost some money but I've used it for years for UML modeling as well.
