Persistence.
A desire to get things done and a belief that they can get done interests me more than offering someone a sympathetic shoulder to cry on.
Actually I assumed it could be done from that first site and just hunted to find out how. Just for you.

How long and who would simply be conjecture on my part.
Just do it as soon as you get knowledge of your model and serial number. Don't wait until you have a fire to buy an extinguisher.

Rob,

Thanks for the tip.
Where and how did you ever find that info?

I now have Pending access request for the new model/SN.
How long and how does the approval process work.
Who does the approval?

Thanks
Paul

https://www.ibm.com/support/home/
sign in at top right

Expand "Help me manage".
Underneath "Check", select "Support registrations".
Change it from "By customer" to "By machine type and serial number".
Enter machine type and serial number.
Press "beg and grovel".

We recently migrated from a Power7 hardware Model 8205 Power 9 hardware 9009 I can see my entitlements, software keys, downloads, etc under the new system.

I can see/enter PMR under the old system.
I’m NOT able to enter a PMR request on line for the new system.
The new model / S/N do not appear.
We might also have a new customer number for the new hardware.

Is there an on-line registration process for this?
Any one from the group have this process?

Thank You
