Rob,

BRMS will automatically create a list for you if you are using a control group for your save.
I found it better to specify a name different than the one you're using for your save.

Missed object policy . . . . . . . . . . SAVMISS05

Specifies the name of backup control group and lists used to track
missed objects during backup control group processing. If the backup
control group or lists do not exist, these will be created using the
same attributes as the current backup control group.

Note: You must have object level detail specified with a *ERR,
*YES, *OBJ, or *MBR for the control group entry in order for the
missed object function to work.

In my environment, list Z718392001 is created in control group SAVMISS05.
Backup List
Items Type

*EXIT
Z718392001 *LNK
*EXIT

The list created is mainly log files from /QIBM/UserData/.....
There are a few other items.

Paul

Subject: List of objects not saved with SWA while locked.

Is there a list of objects which are normally skipped by Save While Active
if they are still locked? *USRIDX and *USRQ objects seem to be an issue.
Is there some IBM documentation somewhere on this?
