We have hundreds of entries in the WRKSMTPEMM screen, showing email of type
*RLY in queue *RTY. which date back to 10/08/2018.
I've been using option 8 to display log entries pertaining to email
entries, but I don't understand many of the log entries. Connections to
email domains appear to be retried over and over, without success. As far
as I can tell, the log doesn't indicate whether a recipient domain is
rejecting the messages, or not.
Sometimes mail is delivered as expected, other times, not! Delivering to
Yahoo appears to be particularly problematic.
Are we missing something fundamental?
