WRKJOBSCDE and then Option 2 and F10 shows the entry that is waiting it's time to be submitted and will affect all pending submissions of the entry. Upon completion the WRKJOBSCDE screen is returned but has to be refreshed (F5) to show the changed items i.e. date and time of next entry if changed.

Our morning backup is run using a Job Scheduled Entry and if we want to skip a date due to a holiday, we just go into the entry and add a Date to Skip. The change goes into effect and on that date the entry won't process. Both Mark and Dave are correct in that the User that setup the entry doesn't affect any of the processing. The Job Description and the User on the Job Description as well as the User Profile affect the processing more than anything else.

That's true, and I understand that. I should have been more clear. I guess my point is if option 2 invokes the CHGJOBSCDE command with the ENTRYNBR parameter set to the most previous submission of the job - what's the point of changing any parameter? I'm trying to change a parameter to affect -all- submissions of the job going forward instead of having to remove it and then adding it back with the changed parameter.
