Dollars to donuts if you look in the config the business partner did for
you, you'll find a USB DVD drive in there. It defaults to be included.
Inexpensive would not describe it accurately. I think most any USB 3.0 DVD
drive will do it.

There are a couple of caveats (I'm not near a place to look them up) but
nothing that should be all that tough to bypass. Remember if it's an ISO or
equivalent you can just put it in an Image catalog and be done with it.
You'll do that from your PC.

Subject: P9 config questions

1) P9 no longer includes a DVD.
We need at least one.
Some of our 3rd party vendors only ship their software via DVD.

Can I use the 7216 I have from our current P7
http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/printableversion.wss?docURL=/common/ssi/rep
_sm/1/872/ENUS7216-_h01/index.html&request_locale=en

or do I need a 7226 Multimedia Storage Enclosure
https://www.ibm.com/us-en/marketplace/7226-multimedia-enclosure

What are others in the group doing for P9 DVD?

2) Ethernet Lan adapter
I'm looking at 5899 PCIe2 LP 4-port 1 GbE Adapter What are others using for
Ethernet adapters?

Thank You
