Reading those links below, it describes the "NULL" client identifier.

So, I decided to try this:

TELNET RMTSYS(xxx.yyyyyy.zzz) PORT(nnnn) RMTVRTDSP(NULL)

and, it worked! :-)

I'm glad it is working for you now. I tried NULL and that did not
work, either -- for me. I'm still waiting to see what the vendor has to
