The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Our "create user" program uses ADDDIRE to create a 'base' directory entry.
We then use a program that simply writes records to QATMSMTPA for new users. We check to make sure the record with the key USERID/ADDRESS does not exist, then write a record with USERID/ADDRESS/SMTPUID/SMTPFLAG/QFILL(blanks for field 'RESERVED')/DOMROUTE. This has been in use practically forever, and we have not (knock on wood) had any problems doing so. The program was last compiled in August of 1999, when it looks like we expanded the error messages for duplicate keys.
