RE: ACS deployment script - install_acs_64_allusers.js - not working

We are basically a non-java shop.
Too many times in the past a Java update resulted in production breaking.

And now ACS has java dependencies, which are also not good.

Are folks here will not be happy with the ACS solution replacing iSeries Access for Windows, for this reason.

What are our options?

There we have a small problem that I mentioned to the IBMers at the Orlando
TechU. With Oracle basically ending "free" java, what would be a "free" and
supported by IBM alternative? the IBM JDK? OpenJDK?
I'm not going to install Java 8 just to lose security updates in a few
months, and if it's not working with Java 10, will it work with the current
OpenJDK?
food for tought, since we still have Java 8 available...
