RE: Disconnect job / end job question on locks


That's a total of 2-1/2 hours-- good for a 3-martini lunch, or a very
boring meeting!

These only affect interactive sessions.

I've always felt that anyone walking away and leaving their system unlocked
should beware that -anyone- can sneak over to their desk and send eMail in
their name...

At a former employer, if we saw a computer in the IT department that was
unattended and not locked, we would send an email to the rest of the
department with a subject along the lines of "I'm not wearing any pants"
and the text "Life is so breezy" to the rest of the IT department. This of
course would generate a number of reply emails.
