Re: Switching from our ISP to Office365 and our software can no longer relay email

In terms of option 2, is it possible to set up a new email address (i.e.
like an internal address) for use with the direct mail option and
automatically forward all mail received in that inbox to an external
address.
In other words, just use an internal address as a "relay" address.
This would definitely get a bit unwieldy (and maybe expensive) if you have
more than a handful of addresses.

Option 3: Configure a connector to send mail using Office 365 SMTP
relay



Option 2 is out because we have to be able to send email to external
email addresses

We cannot purchase a 3rd party solution

I know very little about setting up/using TLS

My questions:

1. Does anyone here have any experience with what this project will
entail? And could offer some advice



2. How hard is it to setup Office365 to allow our program to relay
email through it for a novice TLS person?


3. Does setting up TLS on our Power System require getting
certificate(s)?



4. Since I have very little experience in setting up TLS I am
thinking I might be better off having a consultant setup this and
document what was done.
Where would a good place be to find a consultant we could contract out
this setup process? I believe this could be done remotely.
