The vast majority of the files are TIF images of scanned documents, so they're consistently small (~50 KB) which means a large quantity of files, which doesn't help. Right now, the quote calls for an LTO7 drive. The plan for the ASP is six 600GB 15K 2.5 Inch HDD drives in a V5010 SFF Control.
I was wondering if there's some way to back up the system ASP, bring IBMi out of a restricted state and then back up the IASP to the same tape.

- Number of IFS objects
- Size of each individual IFS object
- Disk speed
- Speed of backup media.
- Whether you specify ASYNCBRING on your SAV command. Prompt the help on that.
- How many drives in your library you use
