Savlib/rstlib? That's how I'd do it. No need for a huge CL.
I'd be interested in knowing how you're doing it now, how long it takes currently and the performance characteristics of the partition.

Subject: Need suggestions on how to cut down time on creating duplicate schema on same LPAR
We need to cut the time WAY DOWN on copying one schema to a duplicate - different named - schema on same LPAR.
Sub questions.
1. IF copying the entire schema does journaling have to be shut down?
2. Would it be faster to copy PF's/tables in a huge CL. Then rebuilding indexes/LF's off their respective tables/PF's.
Just reaching out to those who maybe have done this before. We have 17 plus tera bytes of data.
