Just run the upgrade on the production side, same as you did for your test. Save/restore into the prod environment will issue Al Barsa's "makeamess" command. You'll wind up doing slip installs and all sorts of unnatural acts to fix things

Simple is easy, and correct in this case.

We are looking to upgrade our production environment now. I can run the same process as on the virtual environment, but i was wondering if a save/restore is an option. Not sure if there is an option to just process the OS without other system objects like user profiles, devices descriptions, etc.
