Redefine the need?

Basically, why do you need to send it to another user?
- As a backup (yes we used to do this)?
- Report distribution?

Or you can change the spool file.
Or change the output totally. For instance 5770TS1 is a freebie from IBM
which will create PDF files from spool files. You can just save it as a
PDF file in the IFS and point your users to that instead. Or email the
pdf as an attachment.
Or totally eliminate any spool file and present the data on a website.
Or eliminate the spool file and output directly to Excel or some such
thing an either email that out or send them a link to it.
