Does it save on disk space?

Yes. Applying a PTF permanently removes the "save" of the old object
which was replaced by the ptf. This save is what allows the RMVPTF to
work. Once you've ran for awhile and determine you have no need to RMVPTF
this PTF then get rid of this wasted space.
I'm installing PTF's as I type and watching Java PTF's restore thousands
of objects. Just how much space do you think is taken up by leaving
backup copies of these objects laying around so you can do a RMVPTF?
