My first thought is SMB2. What OS did you come from?
Is Win2008 on the same domain as the working PC's? Do you have more than one Win2008, if so are they all broken? Are you current on PTF's & Windows Updates?

Subject: V7R3 mapped drive issues from Win2008 R2 Server
Since upgrading to V7R3, we're having issues when attempting to map a drive from a Win2008 R2 Server.
Since our Windows and I users do not match, we always select Connect using different credentials.
The attempt sits there, never receive the user/password screen.
Working fine from all desktop PC, Win7, Wind10.
Any thoughts from the group.
