But see, that's my point. You're thinking like IBM, as IBM is now. This
would benefit everyone from the small to the large. This isn't solving a
problem to allow a smaller user base, it's solving their archaic licensing
system to make it easier and clearer for all.

This is just my opinion. I don't want to get into an opinion war,
especially the dead horse that is "user licensing". I'm mainly talking
about hardware software license keys so that people use what they buy.
From the 1 person hobbyist with 1 CPU, SQL and RPG to Billion dollar
companies running goliath sized systems.

But I understand some places like to sell you a large product with things
you don't need as a package than allowing you to purchase only the things
you need/want a la carte. Cable companies will (and already are) realize
this too with all the cord cutting.
