How about:
SNDPTFORD PTFID((*CUMPKG))
SNDPTFORD PTFID((SF99731))
GO PTF
8. Install program temporary fix package
Use device *SERVICE

SF99731 is a 7.3 group PTF for "All PTF Groups except Cumulative PTF Package". I believe it will download the latest versions of all installed PTF groups.

Subject: RE: Easiest PTF Upgrade Retrieval

I actually don't have a clue.

My colleague is going through a multiple of PTF retrieval and FTP steps. I was watching, and I wondered why it was so many steps.

Every OS I know of has this (Linux = Apt-get update, Windows = Windows Update, OS X = App store updates), so I assume IBM has it as well but we are just not informed of the best way to go about it.
