Ok, explain this to me. You are upgrading from 7.1 to 7.3. As part of
that upgrade you apply the PTF's permanently to clean stuff up. After you
upgrade to 7.3...
why do you then need to go look at a PTF cover letter for 7.1?
And, are you aware that these cover letters are available online?
Here's what I do.
Every quarter, upgrade or no.
Set all PTF's to apply permanently at the next IPL (unless I know of a
test PTF). I never apply Domino PTF's permanently. There are some weird
companion product updates which have you remove and reapply those PTF's.
Load the latest cume, all groups and any "recommended fixes" into image
catalog
Set those to apply at the next IPL
Do my saves and stuff.
