I've been able to cope with it. Until now.
I need to restore two individual IFS objects from sequence no. 209 of volume A00017 (oh, and preferably rename them, to keep them from colliding with the existing objects), on device TAPMLB01, and I can't find the docs for how to specify volume and sequence number on RST!
