Yes, I've had this occur after many OS upgrades, the fix works.

And it worked. Got a call from IBM too.

I just did VFYSRVCFG SERVICE(*ecs) VFYOPT(*ALL) to check and got this:

Verify processing started.
The value Edge_Gateway does not match an existing service destination.
Verify processing failed.
The value Edge_Problem_Report does not match an existing service
destination.
Verify processing failed.
Verification for QVPN01IBM1 was successful.
Verification for QVPN01IBM2 was successful.
Verify processing completed.

Should I follow your instructions and try again?
