For 20k-30k records, more time has been spent on this thread than will be used in the next ??? years of running this process.

I've done something similar to speed up processing -- instead of
deleting the logical files, simply remove the logical file members and
add them after reloading the physical. With today's hardware, you'd
probably need a lot more then 20-30K records to see the difference.

I think it's not needed and that a CLRPFM on the physical is all that would be necessary and allow each logical to remain during the run of the RPG build program.
