I think you're missing a few steps.

I believe he is looking for automation not manual saving from MS Word.

However yes, the SaveAs from MS Word can be automated as part of an automation sequence if needed.

Was there something else you were trying to convey that fits automated processing ?

Might also be some PHP stuff out there.

If you're open to commercial options our iForms software might work for what you want. It allows you to use RTF formatted documents as input and you can then output as PDF and other formats.

If you want to email me a sample RTF file I would be happy to send a sample to convert it and send you the PDF sample.

Another option might be to automate MS Word to do this for you. We have software that can help with that as well.
