Even if %FIELDS applied to WRITE, RPG would still have to supply its own
default value for the field. It would be similar to the way it works
with O specs where only some fields are listed.
RPG doesn't have any way to tell database that some of the fields in the
output buffer should be ignored.
The reason it works for UPDATE is that RPG can use the values from the
input buffer for the fields not listed in %FIELDS.
