The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Way back when, I wrote a program called ADDUSER that not only created the
user profiles, but added them into the application software package. The
program had three variables, the first being the new user, the second was
the user's name for the text field, and the third was a user profile the new
user was to mimic.
It was attached to a simple menu, and was compiled to adopt QSECOFR
authority. The auditors were happy with it.

Subject: Looking for help
We have help desk personnel who are not iSeries savvy. They are supposed to
create user profiles. But, we don't want to give them SecAdm authority
(gives the auditor willies) and never qsecofr !
Is there software that allows a user to adopt the authority to create
profiles and logs the heck out of it to keep auditors happy ?
I'm looking for recommendations from users, not so much vendors.
Thanks,
Cyndi B.
