Would the info from syscolumns work?

Select * from qsys2.syscolumns where table_name = 'XXXXXX' and
table_schema = 'XXXXXX';

Select just the columns you want instead of *

I need to display the fields and column headings in a table and do not

want to

always open up iNav to do a table definition inquiry.

I would like to run a command that would prompt up the same window as
iNav does, similar to the generate definition option in iNav.

Is this possible? I may be missing the wood for the trees.
