RE: Cl programing: How to query ftp configuration

I no longer have access to the source code, but many years ago, I was able
to use an RPG program to write the run time variables into a source physical
file member, and then that member was read by my FTPBATCH program.

If I recall correctly, the variables were to derive and place a time stamped
file name into various locations on a Windows server.

I've experienced slow response in QSHELL when hostname is a mess.

Mark,

Do you have any DNS configuration ? (CFGTCP -> Option 12) If so, are you
using *LOCAL or *REMOTE ?

Do you have an entry on host tables for FQDN (hostname + domain name) and
hostname ?
