Right. CHGCMDDFT only changes the default for the specified parameter. Any previous changes would still be in effect.

Except that you can't change the default for the OPTION parameter. It's a list parameter, and CHGCMDDFT doesn't allow it.

Also, changing the default for PPGENOPT to *NOSEQSRC probably wouldn't be a good idea because then the compiler would only operate in preprocessor mode.

But you could do these two separately and they would both be in effect:
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTBNDRPG) NEWDFT('DBGVIEW(*LIST)')
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTBNDRPG) NEWDFT('TRUNCNBR(*NO)')
