Using CHGCMDDFT to change one parameter on a command shouldn't change
any
other existing defaults whether system default or changed by a user
previously with CHGCMDDFT.

Are you saying that if I execute the following two commands one
right after the other that the second command does NOT wipe out what was
done with the first command?

CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTBNDRPG) NEWDFT('OPTION(*SRCSTMT)')
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTBNDRPG) NEWDFT('PPGENOPT(*NOSRCSEQ)')

Because, in the past (unless I've got my situations mixed up), it
was definitely the case that you had to do the following to keep both
overrides. Does this ring any bells with anybody?

CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTBNDRPG) NEWDFT('OPTION(*SRCSTMT) PPGENOPT(*NOSRCSEQ)')

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
