Rob,

I've been finding too many important and critical PTFs that never make it to a cum or group.
PTF ordering process becoming too time consuming.

It probably never will.

And, there are some reasons why not.
1 - Some PTF's control the way things work. Remember when WRKACTJOB was changed to default to Activation Group but if you ordered a ptf it changed the default behavior back to previous methods? Consider these toggle switch PTF's.
2 - FUD. IBM came out with a PTF to fix an issue that only Rob reported.
No one else has experienced this. Maybe Rob does something really unique.
Yes, IBM did good regression testing, etc. However they are loathe to shotgun it to everyone unless
A) It is highly risky to NOT have it.
B) Numerous people requested it and it didn't kill them.

Many years ago, I had a DCR request for a possible new PTF order.
SF99712 - any PTF not part of any cum or group.
It never materialized.

Any thoughts from the group?

Thank You
