ArdGate is easier to use. Once set up, you just use embedded SQL.
There are some limitations though. The biggest in my opinion is
that you have to disconnect DB2 to access SQL Server. It does allow
interactive SQL.

Note that with ArdGate I use both DB2 and MS SQL Server in the
same program. You just have to switch your connection back and forth
between the two while processing a cursor set on MS SQL Server. It is a
single SQL statement to switch connections between two or more databases.
