Its not homegrown code, but a package solution from a vendor, and they have
not ported it to i .
But we are one Power i amongst mixed with many AIX servers (I think there
are 30+ companies in this corp) and the solution covers all but us. I
suggested we take a little time to see if possible.
Whats in the lib I don't know - just beginning to scratch the surface.
I did a prev post asking if anyone has implemented this - HP Voltage and
got no responses.
We trade info with many other servers, and HP Voltage has a common key
approach so that each server, with the key can read each other's passed or
queried data.
We would like not to be the exception as we share lots of data.

We have a project to port a library of C functions to the I that can be
used by Python on the *IX side.

Specifically this is numpi.

Anyone done this?

I've been tasked to port "a library of C functions" to Power i V7R1 -

I'm not sure the terms "library" and "functions" are correct.
I've been given the plan to deploy on an AIX system.
This currently running on AIX and Win systems (and not sure if same C
functions or different set for Win and AIX) but all is written to use
with
DB2 LUW.
It's not open source so did not start with that list.
Assuming if AIX port it will involve Pase, and is installed.
There is IBM docs going back many releases, so I need to know what is
the
current method for our current level V7R1.
As always - thank you,
