My Fellow Midrange Geeks and Geekettes:
I know this is a long shot, but is it possible, when generating a PDF
through the AFP-to-PDF functionality in the OS, to generate one that's a
fill-in form?
Or failing that, is there something comparable or better, in terms of
ease-of-use, for generating PDFs out of ILE RPG programs, that doesn't
involve buying some expensive third-party product?
FWIW, the current PDF generator for this particular customer was probably
one of my first forays into using an AFP print file, rather than just SCS,
because while it does use AFP functionality and fomts, it still uses an
overlay rather than page segments.
