That is honestly a pretty sad statement. I would expect that a vendor of
a reputable product that is expecting to sell their software on IBM i
would not require more than two years from the public release to finally
support a release!

This is especially true given that they could be in partner programs
that give them much earlier access to the software.

Especially in the 3rd party market there is often competition which
likely already has supported the new releases!
