I get what you say, but they are still taking money for V7R1 support (at
least that's how my customers see it) so until they end of life V7R1 they
ought to do something.
I don't expect database enhancements but SSL Ciphers does seem a reasonable
ask.

I for one do not expect IBM to spend tons of money supporting old releases
when there are many new features and functions being requested every day.
