The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I also found this, which I think you mentioned in a previous thread.
Any IFS item that is changed to Can be saved . . . . . . . . . . . . . : No.
BRMS is remember that last time these items were saved, which in my case Is these old LT03 volumes.
What I think I need to do is:
1) identify all these "Can be saved NO" items.
2) Change them temporarily to YES.
3) Save and append to my current system save tape.
4) Change them back to NO.
5) Once complete, the next BRMS recovery report should be minus these old volumes.
My question here is does the order matter on where they are on the system save tape.
Also, is this the correct resolution?
Paul

Hopefully when you do your full system saves you do specify OMITS(*IGNORE) as in STRBKUBRM CTLGRP(VGDTFULL) SBMJOB(*NO) OMITS(*IGNORE)
Otherwise some of your critical data may only be on really old tapes. You also may want to reconsider some of your omits.
