Larry,

I did find this link, and discovered that Java 8 is not part of B_GROUP1_05_, (came out after V7R2 was released).
So Java 8 also needed to be downloaded, unzipped, and added to the image catalog.

I'm not sure why I'm getting this?
This is a playground LPAR, 200gb, 61%, 2 virtual disks.

Works for me. When you verify the catalog you can sort it too and that will correct any errors. But this order will install correctly.

As to missing anything that would only be stuff that's not on the base so for example you have SMP in there and the OSS stuff. Once you verify this catalog there is an option on GO LICPGM op 5 to verify you have all that's needed.

No FTP Option.
Select 'em all and use Download Director if you can. Best option.
If you can't use DD then yes yer stuck with one file at a time.
