Man-in-the-middle is possible with a hard coded IP or a DHCP assigned IP

There are some times when its better to not use DHCP for fixed IPs

We do use DHCP for fixed IP devices like printers but we don't usually use it for servers that hold sensitive data. In those cases we hard code the IP
