I'm working with a company that had their hardwarei setup by a vendor.

We have one system i partition that won't IPL. No one knows how to get to
the console or anything.

The HMC that is attached to the server works but the person on site
doesn't know how to use it. There is no phone or cell service in the
computer room! I thought I know the IP Address of the HMC, and I know
user/password. I tried HMC probe but that said couldn't connect.

I would like to be able to access the HMC from a PC on the network. Any
tips would be appreciated. Sorry if I used the wrong names
