I recall the same effect many years ago; I do not recall for sure, but likely there was a PTF that was related to the LIC comm that caused hiccups. Check for VLogs [LIC logs, esp. ones that were not being logged as pervasively, prior to the cumulative maintenance being applied] and for Product Activity Logs [PALs] around the time of some incidents of disconnects; be sure to also review the QCMNARB## joblog that issued the message to QHST about the device session ending.
